Niigon’s buildings are some of Canada's most environmentally friendly facilities. Solar panels on the roof generate electricity, skylights reduce the need for indoor lighting, and a geothermal system provides heating and cooling. The LED lighting in the offices is motion activated and the washrooms are water and energy-efficient. Even the landscaping is low-maintenance.
Niigon injection molding machines employ the latest energy-saving technology, such as servo motors and active power supplies that convert kinetic energy generated during braking into electrical energy and regenerate it into the power supply system. They require less hydraulic oil than comparably-sized machines while lasting significantly longer in use, thus further reducing waste.
We work closely with our supplier-partners to develop an efficient supply chain network, based on responsibility and long-term sustainability.
Excess material resulting from our operations is responsibly reused or recycled.
